Chloe Robyn Wilson, running has never just been about pace. The founder of Stronger Together, a female-only fitness and social community based in Abu Dhabi, Chloe has spent years building a movement rooted in connection as much as kilometres. She'll be bringing that message to The Run Show this October, and we sat down with her to hear her story.

Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?

I’m Chloe, founder of Stronger Together, a female only fitness and social community in Abu Dhabi bringing women together through movement and connection.

How did you get into running?

It was actually my sister who got me into it - after a lot of partying in my early 20s I was struggling with my mental health and my sister took me on a run - it was brutal and I barely survived 2km but I LOVED how it made me feel, I felt unstoppable - I got addicted, went t-total and the rest is history! (6 years ago)

What does your current training look like?

A mix of running, strength, and cycling. I keep it balanced and no pressure - it’s important to keep things fun!

What’s the talk you’re giving and why does it matter?

I’ll be sharing my perspective as someone passionate about building community through running and movement - it’s not just about pace/PBs, there is power in social connection - as humans we need it! That’s what keeps people coming back.

What’s the achievement you’re most proud of?

Hmmm - aside from completing my Ironman 70.3 in 2025 (as someone who could barely swim) I’d say building a community of thousands of women in Abu Dhabi - I’ve seen SO many beautiful friendships made and that is really special to me.

Must have piece of running gear or tech?

Good trainers that fit you correctly - and some banging country music.

What would you tell someone just starting out?

Take it step by step - slow down and don’t do too much too fast. Also try to avoid comparing your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 15 - this is your journey and enjoy it!!

What are you focused on right now?

Growing Stronger Together and building the biggest female race in Abu Dhabi 👀 stay tuned

One thing people don’t know about you?

My journey with running actually started when I was 15, my dad was dying from bowel cancer and denied medical treatment on the NHS so I contacted every news company in the UK to raise the funds for his treatment and randomly decided me and my friends would run a half marathon (I didn’t even know the distance and didn’t train even 1km) - we ran/walked - and raised over 100k AED, he sadly passed seat but the money was donated to the oncology department where he was treated - I didn’t run again until my mid 20s.
