Kenyan runners in the UAE is comprised of a mix of elite professional athletes competing in major international marathons and a dedicated community of expatriate workers who dominate local amateur racing scene.
Our group founder Coach B (Brian Aringo) started this group in 2019 with only 3 people, him, his wife and his daughter. Then he went on to do Facebook live training in 2019 during covid lockdown and finally in 2021 after covid a WhatsApp group was established and we started adding Kenyans who we running but dont know each other.
The group grew from 3 family members to 390 members today. Our main agenda was to fit in the UAE fitness industry and to help other Kenyans with information, knowledge and a good meet up time.
Expatriate "Labourer" Runners: Several Kenyans working in the UAE in manual or service industries compete at high levels in local races while training on Jumeirah Beach.
Kenyan Runners UAE: A vibrant community group that brings together Kenyans living in the UAE through a shared passion for running. The group promotes fitness and social networking, with many members achieving podium finishes in local UAE races.
